MEET GINA HOEGH

Founder of Balanced Body Solutions- Therapy & Wellness, LLC
&
Creator of The Pattern Reset™
Blending over 25 years of experience in physical therapy, fitness, massage therapy, and life coaching, Gina has dedicated her career to helping others feel better, move better, and live more fully.
From an early age, Gina had a natural ability to see patterns — in posture, movement, and behavior — and an intuitive talent for problem-solving. She’s always loved sorting through the clues that the body reveals, uncovering what’s really happening beneath the surface.
Her professional journey began in 1999 within the field of physical therapy, where she supported patients through recovery and rehabilitation. Over time, she began to notice the limitations of traditional physical therapy — often constrained by insurance requirements, cookie-cutter programming, and a focus on isolated areas of pain rather than the whole person. While these methods aimed for quick results, they frequently missed the root cause, leading to recurring problems and frustration for both patients and practitioners.
Determined to offer something deeper and more lasting, Gina founded Balanced Body Solutions in 2013 — a space built on integrative, awareness-based care that addresses the body as a complete system and connecting the dots others often overlook.
Through decades of study and collaboration with some of the most respected names in the field — Aaron Mattes, Tom Myers, and John Barnes — along with formal education, research, and years of hands-on experience, Gina has become an expert in biomechanics, movement, and the mind-body connection. Her signature method, The Pattern Reset™, reflects this lifelong pursuit — blending science, intuition, and awareness to create true, lasting results.
Gina is a seeker at heart—always learning, exploring, and developing new and creative ways to help others heal, grow, and thrive. Her passion for movement, awareness, and transformation drives her to continually evolve, inspiring both herself and those she works with to live with greater balance and vitality.
Gina’s work is deeply personal.
She has lived with heart arrhythmias since childhood. At 21, she underwent a cardiac ablation to slow an uncomfortably rapid heart rate—an intervention that finally allowed her to exercise with less fatigue and feel some sense of normalcy in her body. Over time, however, her heart rate began to decline steadily, eventually becoming dangerously low and causing frequent lightheadedness and exhaustion.
In 2019, Gina made the decision to have a pacemaker implanted so she could once again move, train, and live without extreme fatigue limiting her daily life.
Since then, she has returned to high-level strength training, including CrossFit and Olympic lifting, and now holds the state record in both the clean & jerk and the snatch.
Her personal journey through childhood trauma, autoimmune challenges, chronic tension, and a major childhood injury has given her a unique depth of understanding and compassion.
Rather than viewing these experiences as setbacks, Gina sees them as gifts—each one shaping her ability to help others heal. Through her own repeated process of recovery and self-discovery, she’s developed a profound understanding of the body’s capacity to reset, rebalance, and heal when given the right tools and awareness.
Her experiences shaped a core belief that drives everything she does:
Every body is capable of movement, and limitations do not have to mean inactivity.
Gina’s approach is grounded in adaptation, awareness, and meeting the body where it is—because she has lived firsthand what it means to work with your body instead of against it. Her mission is to help others find safe, sustainable ways to move, feel stronger, and trust their bodies again—no matter their history.
